Introductin to Xuanhua I/S Group Co.,Ltd.

  Xuanhua I&S Group Co.,Ltd.(Xuanhua Steel, in brief) has its 84 yesrs' history by now (Its predecessor,Longyan Iron Ore Steel Co.,Led., was established in 1919.).It is one of the national large—scale key I/S corporations, as well as one of the biggest I/S Company in the north—west part of Hebei Province . In 2001,Xuanhua Steel occupied the 9th position among the 100 Powerful Enterprises in Hebei Province . It was in the rank of 305th within the 500 National Large-sized Enterprise Groups. In the passed 50 more years since liberation. Xuanhua Steel has made historical contribution to national construction and debelopment in I/S industry. Especially,since the Ninth-five-yearPlan,focused on chances, key problems,management,inner-potential,improving technical progress,Xuanhua Steel has been up to a new level both in production capacity and economic benefit.

Located in an ancient historical cultural city of Xuanhua,which was beyond ancient front,Xuanhua Steel is in the west of Beijing with a distance of 150km near Jing-Bao railway and Jing-Zhang national highway.It is convenient both in transportation &communication and is rich in ore resources. As a result of development and construction ,Xuanhua Steel has become a modernized &integrated I/S enterprise with comprehensive production ability of dressing,sintering,coking,iron-making,steel-making and rolling,power generating and transporting.

With a capital of RMB 5 billion yuan,personnel of 35,624 and eleven main I/S manufacturing plants ,nine associated sub-companies,now,Xuanhua Steel has formed a production capacity of 3 million t/a for iron ,converter-steel and steel products,respectively.In 1999,it obtained ISO9002 Quality Management System registration.

Main Equipments:

•  For iron-making:1 × 1260 m 3 BF , 1 × 450 m 3 BF,4 × 300 m 3 BF;

•  For sintering:1 × 86m 2 sinter,2 × 64 m 2 sinter,3 × 28 m 2 sinter ,1 × 10 m 2 shaft,2 × 8 m 2 shaft;

•  For steel-making:2 × 80t top and bottom blowing converter equipped with 2 × 6-6 s trand concaster; 3 × 18t top blowing converter equipped with 3 sets of concaster (1 × 3-3 Rockpo concaster, 2 × 2-2 rectangular billet concaster);

•  For steel-rolling;10 production lines of high-speed wire rod mill,hot strip rolling mill,rod mill,small section mill,high-frequency welding pipe mill;

•  For coking:2 × JN43-804 and 2 × JN 60-80 coke oven,whole negative pressure device(imported from Germany) for its by-products recovery;

•  For oxygen-making: 5 sets of oxygen-making machine; 15,000 m 3 /h, 6,000 m 3 /h, 3,200 m 3 /h;

•  For power-generating:3 × 6,000kw electric generator,1 × TRT ge nerator.

Main Products:

Various kinds and types of steel –making pig iron,foundry pig iron,rebar,round steel,hot strip steel,welded pipe ,high –speed wire,coke,cement,refractory materials,carbon black and chemical products.

During the Tenth-five –year Plan,Xuanhua Steel has been conducting the task of regulating its production structure,mainly to upgrade steel making &rolling equipment and products,In the mean while ,it is speeding up to establish regulations applied in modernized enterprise and to develop non –steel industry.At the end of the Tenth-five-year Plan,Xuanhua Steel will be formed a capacity of 4million t/a for iron-making,steel-making and steel products respectively,as well as formed a sales income of more than RMB 8 billion yuan.During the 21st centrury,Xuanhua Steel will become a large-sized modernized&integrated I/S enterprise with advanced equipment, high-quality products as well as powerful market rivalrousness.
